At moments like these, he usually spews crazy nonsense in every direction until he finds some denial to run with...

...but the humiliation is so fresh and the story is still unfolding, so he doesn’t have time to do that.

So, we have Trump in a situation that would usually make him the most fevered and incoherent just as he approaches the first debate - which he hasn’t prepped for.

Trump might be an extra double-triple trainwreck tomorrow night.

Like, bonkers to a degree that makes people stare aghast.

They may have to benzo him into a complete torpor - in which case, he’ll be a snoozy, incoherent bore.

Let’s read the tradewinds in the morning but it is 50-50 at this point:

- Tweaking on uppers; ranting like a loon; emotional regulation: zero

- Droopy-lidded, highly sedated and sleepwalking through incoherent bluster

It’s going to be a scene either way.
