Just to clear this up...you don't just take vaccines just to protect yourself, you take them to protect other people. If you choose to not take a vaccine and then you get sick, you become the vector for the illness of other people, and if they die, that was an unnecessary death.
There are number of responses to this tweet that take the form: "You can't convince these people, they're scum." And I don't know what to say except: *You are part of the problem*
You're making wild assumptions about a complicated topic because that's the easy thing to do. But we need to stop doing the easy thing. There are tons of smart, conscientious people who are also, get this, not entirely informed on how infectious diseases work.
Uninformed people presented with attacks rather than information are going to respond with hostility to your perspective, which, to be clear, is exactly what you or I would do in the same situation.
