How do you get busy mom lawyers to attend a law conference? For the http://lawyermomownersummit.com"> http://lawyermomownersummit.com , there& #39;s an app for that. Here& #39;s the development story....
Months ago, I learned about a cool tool called http://Glideapps.com"> http://Glideapps.com that turns Google Spreadsheets into apps. I was intrigued but needed a project for it. So when Lawyer Mom Owner Summit came up, seemed ideal.
Step 2: We used Eventbrite to register attendees - https://www.eventbrite.com/e/lawyermomowner-parenting-practicing-profiting-in-the-pandemic-tickets-117342337089Considered">https://www.eventbrite.com/e/lawyerm... including a link to Google form but knew we& #39;d lose registrants. So set up fields in Eventbrite to include in the app.
Step 3: Need to get data from http://Eventbrite.com"> http://Eventbrite.com to Google sheets. There& #39;s a Zap for that! http://www.zapier.com"> http://www.zapier.com transported most of the data (having some issues with one field)
Step 4: Problem - Sponsors and speakers don& #39;t register on Eventbrite. That& #39;s been entered manually.
Step 5: Create relationships between spreadsheets to interact in Glide. Needed help; found developer to help on http://Upwork.com"> http://Upwork.com . (this is something @bruceisrael would have helped me with if he were here)
Step 6: Benefit of working with team is that they see things I didn& #39;t. Developer had idea of associating each session with click through zoom link
