Washington, DC loves JK Rowling! ❤️

JK, thank you for standing up for women and children. You are an inspiration.

❤️ ≠ hate.

#IStandWithJKRowling
Our message of love is now being seen on 14 screens throughout the DC Metro network. ...

People will lie and try to make this about hate. It is not.

It is my hope that in the near future, people will take the time to read JK’s own words.
When they do, I am confident that this quote will ring true:

“Do I not destroy my enemies when I make them my friends?” ~Abraham Lincoln
My thanks to Posie Parker for the original inspiration.

Her poster was taken down at the Edinburgh Waverley station, despite receiving zero complaints.
Fortunately, San Francisco showed us how Freedom of Speech is done.
Utah is currently doing the same in several locations.
The world’s death threats do not scare me.

For every one received, I will simply put up another billboard.

I do need help, though, so feel free to reach out via DM. If you would like to fund one, I will help.

I will keep doing this until we are all allowed to speak freely.
