If you have an irritatingly positive friend, be kind to them.

People are only irritatingly frustratingly positive for a couple reasons.

1. They are actually in the process of running away from horrifying darkness
2. They are acting strong because someone they know is hurting

3. They don't have the tools to sit in the darkness/grief, and so live in deep denial of its existence.

4. They see the people working to make the world worse, and consciously choose to be the antithesis, even if they don't feel like it.

Or, finally...

5. They are an actual cartoon character living in a human shell.

Either way, it's a rough time for them.

Thank them, love them, hold them up - let them know they are seen and appreciated.

Be nice to your annoyingly positive friend.
