if there is going to be one silver lining in the conflagration of horrendously bad mythology driven policy pretending to be science known as "2020" perhaps it will be a healthy distrust of "experts" and "models" that have never evidenced forward predictive ability.

perhaps it will be a healthy distrust of the quality of data used to make claims about "facts" and "trends" and about the motives of those whose budgets, livelihoods, and access to power depends upon having a crisis to point to.

because let me tell you, as someone who spent a couple years doing a deep dive into the space, if you think the science and data is bad, misrepresented, dishonest, and outright manipulated in epidemiology, wait until you see climate science.

i have never seen anything like it.

and it's clear they have learned lessons here too.

they saw how much power and money the covid-industrial complex and the regulators who enable to managed to grab and how quickly.

and believe you me, they were taking notes and they want their turn.

if our societal immune system to junk science, manipulation, & fake data used to drive policy that harms billions of people is not up to their new virulence, this little joy ride with your lives will seem like a pleasant memory in comparison to what the climate zealots want to do
