Secondly I see a lot of people saying "his policies are nice but he not gonna actually do them". I get the cynicism, politicians suck. but presidents do tend to fill around half of their campaign promises on average, and in comparison to the alternative even half of this is gold

Federally, it would be required to allow trans people to use bathrooms that match thier gender identity in employment and in public spaces. you wouldnt be able to be fired for being trans anywhere in the country.

theres a bunch of other stuff and non-trans lgbtq+ protections in there too that im too non-american to pretend to understand. All in all the "both sides are the same" discourse is disheartening to see.
