A number of Khalaf allowed asking SHAFA'AH only next to the grave if the Prophet (S).

2. Great Salafi scholars like Nasir al-Barrak and Ibn Uthaymeen beautifully explain why they respectfully reject the opinion of the likes of Nawawi; no same scholar has ever accused Imam Nawawi of Shirk!

3. The likes of Nawawi do NOT allow Rafidi and extremist Sufi paganism in the form of praying to to the Prophet (S) or saints/Imams from anywher and asking for madad, all Nawawi says is that one prays to Allah alone and ONLY next to the grave of the Prophet (S)...

...one addresses the Prophet (S) as done in the hadith of the blind man. The hadith (blind man) is disputed,l but many Khalaf relied on it and included it in their 'Ettiquettes of visiting the Messenger', however not one great Athari authority has ever accused them of Shirk!

4. So Imam Nawawi's opinion is not an absolute Hujjah and not binding on all Ahlus-Sunnah and scholars had and have a right to reject it (especially since it is based on a flimsy and disputed hadith according to them) so Rafidis and other desperate folks should drop quoting it.
