Looming showdown as the head of public service Mr Joseph Kinyua removes the names of the children of DP William Ruto ~ Nick, June, Stephanie, Nadia, Charlene and George from the list of the support staff of the office of the Deputy President.

This comes days after the head of public service initiated a radical audit of all the private staff of the deputy president.
According to details revealed by sources who sought anonymity, the deputy president had all his children receiving a monthly paycheck of Ksh 500,000 each.

This was in the private staff budget that has been issued by the office of the Deputy president for the past 7 years. All the children of the deputy president were enlisted as private staff alongside his private staff and aides.

service and secretary to the cabinet is said to be mulling pressing charges for defrauding the tax payers for the past 7 years. It was not immediately clear who is to be charged, the children, individually, or the deputy president.

This is coz DP eldest daughter Shantel & son Nick have continued to receive the money. Ms Prisca Chemutai~mama Abby,has however claimed her daughter Abby Ruto, does not receive the money, although it is ever accounted for in the budget estimates & allocation to the said office.
