Now up at @GatorCountry, my advanced stats review of Florida's big win over Ole Miss. There's a lot of good stuff throughout, but rushing and receiving are of particular note.

Dexter's first TFL. Both the LG and pulling TE think they're going to the second level, leaving the big fella unblocked.
4th down stop. Florida actually got aggressive and sent 5.
WR No. 1 is open on mesh coming from the left, but I think Corral wants Moore on the wheel from the backfield. Wilson has coverage, so Moore's not open, and the pocket collapses.

DB has his back to the sideline, meaning he has no shot when Copeland makes his outside break. Pierce's route out of the backfield ensures the dropping DE stays out of the way. Easy pitch and catch.
The hit knocked it loose, but look at the placement. Ball is in Copeland's hands between four defenders.
Right side of the line can't handle the stunt, Trask has to unload early under pressure, and an obvious DPI bails out the play. Can't tell if a miscommunication between Reese/Delance or if Delance just didn't identify the stunt.
20 is shadowing Pitts on the motion and has coverage after the snap. The play action is just enough to give Pitts a step or two and get in the end zone.
Miller got and should get credit for patience and control on this sack, but Bogle (8) makes it possible. The TE who initially engages Bogle before releasing and the RB go into wiiiiide open space right, but Bogle flushes Corral left. Big gain if not for Bogle.
Zach Carter kind of getting tackled after beating the RG doesn't help, but neither does Chatfield and Diabate getting 10 or more yards upfield and well past the QB's depth
Corral breaks contain when they rush 5, so he didn't just get out when they rushed 3.
Something maybe looks off with Miller (lined up on C) and Dexter (RG), like one thinks its a stunt and other doesn't. Don't love Miller jogging after Corral. Still a stop if Elam makes tackle

Either Wilson or Brunson is supposed to get 11, but both go for the H-back. Too easy.
This looks like an RPO, but I question that because the guy it makes the most sense for Trask to be reading is the one who breaks the pass up. Trask's head seems pointed right at him, and the dude pretty much just sits in one place the whole time. If it's a read, it's a bad one.
Weird bit of blocking here. Gouraige and Forsythe initially double-team DT 50. Forsythe bails to go back and get the unblocked DE 7 right as Gouraige is releasing to the next level. No one has 50 anymore, and he swallows up Wright.
Clearing out the middle for Toney works as a primary or a check down. He's also immune to a pincers technique for tackling.
Placement
(Jump was a bit ill-timed, but Trask hits him exactly in stride to allow for about 12 yards after catch.)

Before Pitts catches the 71-yard TD pass, Dameon Pierce says no.
Jet sweep play action keeps both Elam (outside) and Wilson (inside) short, forcing Torrence to have to cover two guys deep. Which no one can.
Torrence goes with the out. If he doesn't, throw goes there and it's 6. Moore is uncovered, but at least there's another safety that way.

Trent Whittemore's blocking here

Give Ole Miss's offensive tackles this: they were usually pretty good at pushing UF's speed rushers upfield and well past pocket depth. It's easier for Corral to escape when he only has to get past a couple DTs instead of four guys on all sides.
Seemed to me that the Ole Miss defense really lost the plot in the middle of the 3rd quarter. Poor Nay'Quan has basically nothing to do as the lead blocker here

Tempo after a long completion catches the defense. They're not set at the snap. The bust is probably Torrence, who spies Corral instead of covering the TE. It's not a bad thought after how much scrambles have hurt, but it's not best play either. Secondary is *hard* for true FR.
Picking up a first down with a PA boot to the tight end is how you really twist the knife on Lane Kiffin.
Every bit of postgame analysis said no one has a player who can single-cover Pitts so defenses will have to double him. About that...
Nothing but prevent defense from here so I'm calling this thread done. Go read my analysis of the game if you haven't already
