This is Simple "Chakra"
I did a detail documentation of Hoysala art with my camera.

This look of Chakra is artistic advancement of Hoysalas & nothing as unimaginable machinery claimed by anyone. I can prove it.

I want to put an end to the concept that extraordinary Indian art/Temple art being called as an extraterrestrial achievement is a great insult to our ancestors & their Civilizational achievements.

this thread has few pictures..

This is Hoysala Vishnu with Shankha, Chakra, Gada & Padma.

Let us zoom in those Ayudhas and check.

Look at the extraordinary art in chakra and the long pedestal which ignorant people call it as chain.

in other hand is the Padma, which people cannot even identify due to its intricacy.
This shankha and its pedestal. Such an unsusual length and the Head of shankha with Kirtimukha is beautiful decoration.
This is Khatvanga, the skull stick.
but look at its intricacy, the snake going in and out of eye holes of skull is unimaginable.
This is Parasu, the axe. But look at its pedestal and the Kirtimukha design on it., the proper axe itself has a medallion on it. Imagine who gives such details on to the Ayudhas even. stunning right.
This is Pasa, a thread or rope.
but look how decorative it is made. and normal people fail to understand it as Pasa.
Look at this Vishnu with lengthy Shankha and Chakra. This very chakra is called as an alien thing. How?

just because decorative designs are added and we fail to interpret them?
Mother of all is this Shruk (Long spoon) in the hands of Brahma. Great genius people go ahead to call it "Theodolite".

and some even go ahead and say the Brahma is looking through Theodolite.

Seriously?
