Academic & professional university staff have been working to breaking point since March to deliver teaching this year. Often offering *more* content & *more* contact hours.

All the time campaigning for universities and the government to tell students the truth & to make (1/3)
decisions that would protect the lives and health of students, staff and wider community. The government told universities it would not bail them out, leaving them reliant on rental incomes (not only accommodation) generated from the new theme park model of university life (2/3).
The marketisation of higher education has smashed the mental health of students & staff, now it looks set to directly cost lives.

Public health must be prioritised immediately. Long term, tuition fees must end & education at all stages must return to public provision (3/3).
