My daughter's college refused to appeal her A level grade, @ofqual told her to go to @PearsonEdexcel to complain, they told her to get evidence for decision from college, then told her to file complaint via different dept, then told to raise formal complaint with college first /1

Now college is saying deadlines have passed for any appeals. My daughter literally has an email from her 3 Maths teachers stating she would undoubtedly have achieved an A in her exam. She was awarded an A by her teachers, but her college marked this down before submitting it. /2

She can't physically resit the exam as she is away at uni. The process for appealing is a joke. @GavinWilliamson has ensured students cannot appeal. @ofqual and @PearsonEdexcel have bounced her from pillar to post. She has lost £3k in scholarship because of this. /3

Interesting she's a girl, from a single parent family, and none of the boys in her class were unfairly moderated against. I am so angry. I cannot afford to make up this money for her, and the college, @GavinWilliamson, @ofqual and @PearsonEdexcel don't care at all. #alevels2020
