as an army, we have either (1) acads or work, and (2) bts as our main priorities. and it could be pressuring and stressful to balance both at the same time.

1. make sleep part of your self-care routine. as a student, we have alot of homework and studying to do, and bts also has packed schedule so we tend to try to catch up to bts content, but make sure to sleep at least 8 hrs a day, and take short naps in between studying to rest.

2. never skip meals. we need to eat right and get the nutrients our bodies need in order to have a strong immune system. eating can also affect our well-being and moods, so make sure to eat the right food, and not always junk food and too much sweets.

3. exercise atleast 2-3 times a week. as a student we tend to sit all day during our online classes, and then after, lie down in bed while scrolling thru twitter. get your ass up and move your body for our blood to circulate. stretch your body every once in a while.

4. take a break by getting outside. spending time outside that is not your home can help you reduce stress, lower your blood pressure, and be more mindful. i personally like going to coffee shops, taking a short walk while getting some fresh air. (you can do this after covid)

5. drink atleast 3 liters of water (8 glasses) daily. water cleanses the toxins out of our body (and can also clear acne too
). don't overhydrate yourself, but make sure that you drink loooots of water!


6. avoid too much sweets, fat, instant food, and carbohydrates. these types of food actually affected my health, physically and mentally. we can have cheat days every once in a while to treat ourselves, but not everyday. prevention is better than cure!

7. create your own to-do list. try not to procrastinate and say 'i can't do this anymore'. list down things you need to do one-by-one, and do them one at a time. yes, you're not a robot, but we're not given tasks that we won't be able to do. so take it slowly.

8. avoid comparing yourself to others. 'she's better than me, prettier than me, while i'm a useless, talentless potato'. no. each and every one of us is unique and special in our own ways. yes, oomf might excel in other fields, but you are also blessed and gifted. be thankful.

9. create a playlist of your favorite relaxing, chill songs. it helps you focus and concentrate more while relaxing your mind. here's mine if ever you need it. it's composed of piano instrumentals of bts songs. i love it. i hope you like it too.

10. learn how to say no. it's not good for u to always agree with what ppl say. validate your own opinion and beliefs by saying it in a nice way to avoid hurting other people's feelings by being rude. they would understand. if they didn't, then time to cut them off your life.

11. open up your feelings to someone you can trust. we can't do everything all by ourselves. learn how to ask for other's opinions and let them help and guide you too. it's better to have someone to lean on. my dms are open anytime, and i will never judge you.

12. try listening to bts songs while reading the english lyrics. most of them are deep, inspiring, and motivational. my go-to song when i'm having a hard time is 2!3!

13. use your senses as a way to self-soothe: engage in a relaxing activity. eat your favorite snack, light a candle, take a warm shower/bath, or wrap yourself in a soft, cozy blanket - happy senses makes a happy you. and a happy you is a happy nini !

14. always stay positive! things may be hard right now, but all good things will come. pain is temporary. everything will be fine. trust me. hold on a little longer, okay? nini is always here for you.
