Really annoyed at the renewed war against kink and the response focusing on "it helps trauma survivors cope"
Because only upholding this as an excuse not only alienate ppl who didnt experience trauma from being into kinks, but it always end up being used against trauma survivors
We saw it with the "you can write that icky fic only if you lived the same trauma" bullshit.

Because eventually, it wasnt enough to antis. Eventually, they couldn't accept it, and it was victims "coping the wrong way" or asked to "do it privately and not post it"
They end up requesting public listing of trauma and mental illnesses, and if they still don't like the content or the person, they then pretend the person is lying, or is basically "asking for it" because they engage in kinky fiction.

The same is happening here with kinks
If we truly want to protect trauma victims, we cannot use them as a shield and the sole argument for kink to exist when educating people about kink. Because at the end it will always be used against them and hurt them.
It's probably badly worded, but what I meant to say is that people should understand that exploring taboos between consenting adults in the privacy of your bedroom or in dedicated spaces is normal and ok, whether you're a survivor of sexual violence or not.
And that only focusing on the way it can help trauma victims cope is missing some points and will eventually be used against trauma victims to hurt them further.
Tho I'm assuming you can't totally prevent it anyway since it's still a thing and antis love to use that angle to attack
Coping through kinks or hardcore fiction is fine and people shouldn't feel forced to disclose their traumas in detail to strangers for said strangers to judge if they're "allowed" to cope that way.

And overall, strangers shouldn't put their noses in people's bedroom.
