So as of this thread I will begin this thread explaining one of the most complete love stories with both a beginning and a tragic end ever told by this band.

The Caleb Saga, most of the time also refered as the Stalker Saga due to it's content.
I'll begin this thread by talking about the band behind the saga itself and the songs too, Sonata Arctica.

Sonata Arctica is a finnish power-metal band founded in 1999 (previously on 1996 under the name of Tricky Beans) by Tony Kakko, Jani Liimatainen and Marko Paasikoski.
This band has been known for their tales told on each song they have done and produced with the theme of Wolfs and Love stories.

The next one I'm going to talk about is about a twisted man named Caleb, whose from the very beginning has been tormented by his rough childhood.

1) Caleb - Unia - 25 May 2007

"There was a mother, father and a child, A troubled little silent boy, Whose life they were to destroy"

The song begins telling how his father always saw him as a disappointment to the family and his mother projecting-
-Everything she saw from his father and hated him for it but also loving her husband ending up in abusing and loving him because of it

Because of this, Caleb started seeing every form of kindness as something fake and non-existing towards him.
"Lost hopes, all those kind words could hurt him even more, now somehow, lost one more way back home"

Slowly Caleb understood that despite this happening to him he could not bear abandoning his mother and instead believes in her and tries to come closer to her.
"Followed his father, tucked him in, Caleb knows the trade He's the portrait of a man his mother drew to hate forever"

She corrupted him and by seeing his father on Caleb she hoped to regain any form of love she had for her husband on her son.
"She was a beast, a deadly saint, wrong in many ways Wanted to keep up the charade, until the end waltzing together"

With all that happened to Caleb, he became a lost cause to regain any hope in love and kindness he once had many years ago.

2) Till Death's Done Us Apart - The Ninth Hour - October 7, 2016

There was once a boy who wrote a Fairytale, where everything could go wrong.

He found love in someone, who he through it was a complete myth.
"You never should have loved me

'Cause maybe my heart is made of stone

But still I wonder…

If our once forever is done

Then, leave me..."

Most of the song becomes a testament of how his new love was hurting him, from losing that first love he felt to her leaving him.
He understood well that no matter what happened during his relationship and after she left him, he remembered well what he wrote in the card when he was a kid.

“Until death has done us apart.“

3) The End Of This Chapter - Silence - 2001

Despite the time that happened after she left Caleb, he began to stalk her, the story of this song is told through chapters which represent many of the stages he goes through to stalk her for answers.
Through chapter one to three, he gaslight her and blame her that she caused him to sink into his mine and become the violent man he now became.

Through chapter four to six tells about him finding her again with a new lover seeking for revenge for supposedly all the damage she-
-caused to him by leaving him.

He goes from stealing jewlery over time from her to come with the conclusion that he needs to murder her to finish his revenge.

4) Don't Say a Word - Reckoning Night - 2005

She abandoned him, left him to sink on his own pits of despair and he only wants to have that promised ending to this love story and die in each other's arms.
He simply kidnaps her and reminds her that now that she couldn't keep part of their deal she musn't say a single word and let him finish what his mother told him to:

"My son, do the noble thing..."

"You have to finish what you started, no matter what..."
He reminds her that all of this happened because she left him and despite the regret he feels for doing so he's willing to follow through his plan with the sole promise that he will die before her.

5) Juliet - The Days of Grays - 2009

The final chapter of this tale.

The final confrontation between her and him;

He begins to tell her all the plans he had regarding their marriage and how tragic it was for him when it ended.
If Don't Say a Word told us about how his ruptire carved scars on him, Juliet tells us the listeners that these will be his last lines, resuming that there is nothing for him.

That this same story will be rewrote again.
Remarking that since he's the one that caused all of this mess, he's gonna be the one that has to clean it up.

Despite all of his plan put on work she tricks him into only poisoning himself, freeing her from this and laughing at him for getting fooled into it.
She was the last thing he saw and she was the one who closed his eyes so he could be on a eternal slumber while she gets to see another day.
the Caleb Saga might seem as the idea of a man drifted everything he wanted by the ideals that were carved from the very beginning as a child.

The story itself can be resumed as a man whose life abused him and gives into the darkest path and watches everything falls down on him.
