THREAD: As your friendly neighborhood unyieldingly positive Mariners fan, I see a lot to like heading into 2021 as the franchise looks to break that pesky postseason drought.

Here are some of those bright spots.
Kyle Lewis!

You knew he was going to lead this off. His immensely hot start has him among the favorites for AL Rookie of the Year. The power is real, the walk-rate is encouraging, and perhaps most surprisingly, he looked better than expected in center.
Just because: Justus Sheffield!

Even in a shortened season, this was possibly a make-or-break year for his future in the rotation, and make he did. Six quality starts in 10 outings (six innings allowing three runs or less), and posted a FIP of 3.17.
J.P. Crawford!

With a seven-game hitting streak to end the season, he finishes with an average of .255, on-base percentage of .336, and a wRC+ just shy of 100. That's okay, but the real value is with the glove. Man, that glove. My goodness.
Dylan Moore!

Suddenly, a slugger appears! I was not expecting this breakout campaign but I am absolutely here for it. Eight homers, 12 stolen bases (?!) and a wRC+ of 139. That'll play across the diamond. Another thing, stop hitting our guy in the head.
