The Legend of Korra: Season 4 Review (finally done with this show)

Things I liked: kuvira, tenzin and his family, kuvira, varrick, zhu li, etc.

Starting off with Korra, this season is where most of her "development" happened. really shallow development, it boils down to her getting hurt and being afraid. very shallow, no deeper themes, or anything.

It really wasnt much of any development and she still is basically the same person from season 1.

Bolin this season is pretty okay. him in kuviras army wasnt bad. Mako is now just a glorified body guard and is still basic. Asami had a lil more screentime than usual.

The plot this season revolves around the earth empire and kuvira reuniting the earth kingdom. ngl reuniting the earth kingdom was even a bad idea after aang just stole some land from the earth kingdom and made it republic city.

Kuvira as a villian this season was okay. as a character i liked her, as a villian shes basically an earthbending ozai. thats it.

Prince Wu was the most obnoxious character ive ever seen and i want to choke him every time i see him. Tophs appearance was super cool and she still is the greatest earthbender at over 80 years old.

Now to the ending. Another war on republic city, for the second time. Giant mecha robot was the worst idea possible and i cant believe that was an idea. republic city won.

korra saving kuvira from the lazer beam was the biggest asspull ive ever seen. korra was getting sent flying from not even a direct hit, but now she can stop it? BS

Varrick and Zhu Li's wedding was nice. I liked it. I dislike the part where korra said "i needed to learn true suffering to be compassionate" lmao no you just needed to be a decent person its not hard

Korrasami just came out of nowhere. Representation for some people are nice, but it just started out of the blue, with no chemistry. It ended on them going into the spirit world from a portal that just formed in republic city.

Overall, this season is a solid 6/10. Still okay, its respectable but its not as bad as season 1 and its not as good as season 3. Ill make the final thread talking about more stuff, ill go into a lil more detail there.
