I think comparing yourself to most people on a performative basis is one of the dumbest/worst types of copium, because most everyone just generally is a loser, and even if you’re doing good relative to mean, you could still not be anywhere where you need to be on personal paths.
Sure, I could be very unhealthy about it all, but driving principle is that ambition needs to outshine talent, and I BARELY push/put in effort, which I’m actively working at fixing.

My goal is to be the most efficient tool of God, and I need to do a better job than i’ve been.
The main point of not comparing yourself to the average is that most of the average will not have the vision nor the drive to accomplish anything in the means of actual personal success beyond the normal well-trodden path.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking a well-trodden path, and there’s nothing wrong with not needing big aspirations, almost everyone doesn’t.

But that’s the kicker isn’t it? ;)
