Hmm, I beg to differ. Skimming is better to pinpoint main arguments faster. So you don't waste time to read entirely. You just need to know where to look for the answer when you encounter the question. I only spent 30 minutes for Reading from 1 hour allocated time. https://twitter.com/qisunim/status/1309857731977723904
The main tips is: READ A LOT DAILY. If you are accustomed to fast reading, you can grasp information you need faster without wasting your time.

I can say that this is the best method rather than reading the entire text. Got perfect score for every IELTS test I took. 3 times.
This is also a bit discouraged. Passive form is not good especially in academic writing. Always try to stick to active form because it makes your writing bold.

If you use Grammarly, you will get lots of nags when you excessively use passive form.

For me, writing is the hardest because my vocabulary is not good and my writing style is too stiff and bland. But as long as you follow the basic atructure for IELTS Writing Task 1 and Task 2, you can get easy 7 band.

Just practice writing a lot. Consider make your own blog.
Speaking is also the most challenging for Indonesian. Because we are more of a passive English speaker. If you see my score, I got 8.5 only after I lived overseas for 1.5 years where I used English daily. So, don't fret if you can't get good score. Just try to aim above Band 6.5.
Even, my speaking score dropped after I moved out of consulting firm because I used English far less in my second job. Hahahaha. 🤣

I think one of the good way to improve speaking is by joining some communities, like language club, toastmasters, etc.
Oh, if you are still studying in school or uni, consider joining English debate club. It improved my English skills faster when I was in high school. I never took any English course beyond Elementary school except in 2014 before my very first IELTS test just to prep for the test.
And for the listening, additional tips:
1. Read as you listen. If you missed a question, SKIP and GUESS later after the listening ends. Just continue forward.
2. Watch English YouTube content daily to improve your listening skills. Do without subtitle.

My recent listening score was lower because I missed some questions during the listening test. In my recent test, I feel the listening test was more challenging. And it was the first time I used computer based. Previously, I took paper-based test which was more comfortable.
Because, in paper-based test, you can write anything on the paper, including marking the map, making direct jot notes in the questions and so on.

It is not possible in computer-based test. You are only provided a blank paper to take notes. For me, it is more challenging.
