1/ A lot of time is spent focusing on what NFTs are.

They're licenses, art, open APIs, tickets, music, photos, game items, content locks, and a lot of other things.

But what about what they let you do?

NFTs turn life into the ultimate play-to-earn RPG.

Let me explain👇👇👇
2/ There aren't any gatekeepers, rules, laws, or social norms to prevent you from using NFTs to assume a particular role or occupation and make money doing so.

The list of roles that you can step into are limitless, but here a few examples that you can start playing today:
3/ Art collector & investor

All you need to become an NFT art collector and investor is an internet connection and some crypto.

Start your art collecting adventure on art marketplaces like @SuperRare_co @niftygateway @rariblecom @opensea @makersplaceco @NftShowroom @AsyncArt
4/ Pro-gamer

Being a pro-gamer means getting paid to play.

IRL competition to become a traditional pro-gamer is insane.

NFT games like @AxieInfinity and their play-to-earn game mechanics allow anyone to become a pro-gamer from Day 1. https://twitter.com/cloudwhiteNFT/status/1310007737057775616?s=20
5/ VR real estate developer

Since NFTs make VR land ownable and sellable, all you need to become a real estate developer is land and a good idea.

e.g., @pranksyNFT and Pranksyland: @cryptovoxel land co-developed with crypto artists and sold at a premium. https://twitter.com/Coldie/status/1309876353898958849
5/ Artist

No one needs NFTs to become an artist.

But if you want to sell your art and skip all the stuffiness and awkwardness inherent in the traditional art world, just tokenize your art and list it on an NFT art marketplace.
6/ Virtual event organizers

Since NFTs give VR land value, it only makes sense that folks want to drive traffic to their land and builds.

Events are the best drivers of virtual traffic, but they're hard to set up.

Enter virtual event organizers like @theWIPmeetup.
7/ Kid (again)

@DCLBlogger put it best: https://twitter.com/DCLBlogger/status/1310044583741407232?s=20
8/ Finance alchemists

The intersection of NFTs + DeFi is fascinating and just getting started.

Projects like @aavegotchi turn users into mad finance alchemists structuring and packaging NFTs with an array of DeFi instruments essentially only limited by one's own imagination.
10/ NFT Dealmaker

If there is an NFT there is a marketplace for it. Since every marketplace will naturally have buyers and sellers, there is room for negotiators and dealmakers to step in and broker deals between multiple parties.

Just make sure to ask for a % of final sale.
11/ Virtual fashion designer

Pretty much anyone can design, mint, and sell digital wearables in VR worlds like @cryptovoxels and @decentraland.

No old world fashion barriers here.

Check out wearables from @Sinkas5 @n0shot1 @TheCryptoWoman @IPiand @pixls_dot_eth @nessnissla
12/ VR advertising networks

Projects like @MetaverseAds @dcl_plazas set up billboards across their and their partner's virtual land to form VR ad networks.

@An0nym0usNobody created a new type of AR ad format that folks could use to natively advertise in VR worlds.
NFTs and the concept of the metaverse, defined by @AndrewSteinwold as a virtual environment that people live, work, and play in, are basically inseparable.

In March, I wrote a metaverse primer that includes some more NFT-enabled roles people can play. https://beta.cent.co/matthew/+rqvdxd
