in a time when i believe most idols had (mostly) fabricated personas (and yes friendships) for the sake of popularity, seventeen was one the first ones i truly felt were genuine when i started stanning in 2015
did they have fabricated traits to their personalities?? omg yea a lot especially minghao and jeonghan bc they needed to sell a certain image but they gracefully shed those and showed their true sides for us and....it was refreshing to see
when i watch their videos i get just....the vibe of a friend group that has known each other for a really long time and even the vibe of a true family

THIS PROBABLY ISNT MAKING ANY SENSE but seventeen was a breath of freah air for a girl who had only stanned boybands/actors who turned out to hate each others guts in the end
(also the other 3gd gen group i get the same vibe from is bts haaa)

tldr; i used to stan 1d and the glee cast so TRUST ME when i say that seventeen is genuine in the way they show love for each other
