Thread: Achievement does not create happiness.

Is it rewarding? Sure. But it does not create happiness.

Achievement comes with its own set of problems and compromises- work/life balance usually suffers greatly.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t achieve or that you should be broke.

Just that nobody owes you anything and you don’t have to prove anything.

If you won’t be happy without the hustle? Then hustle, but it has to be who you are.
Guess what? It’s not most people. Most think that hustle leads to leisure. Ask anyone who is achieving- hustle leads to more hustle- and then to more hustle.

Really ask yourself if that’s who you are. If not, have a real soul search about what kind of life you want.
If you’re chasing a solid work/life balance, don’t worry about great achievements or hustling your life away chasing more money

You’ll probably never be a billionaire. That’s ok....it is ok to not want to be a billionaire.
But don’t say you want all these lofty possessions and achievements while chasing a life of leisure and hating the hustle. The first doesn’t come without the other.

Just be honest with yourself about what kind of life you want.
Want to work part time and enjoy your life? I love it! Do it. But don’t be mad about the financials. Live within your means and enjoy life.

Just because you want things doesn’t mean you have the hustle. Just because you have the hustle doesn’t mean you want things.
All I’m saying is match your words and goals with what’s inside you and what it is you really want.

Want to be at the top of the mountain? Work your tail off.

Don’t really care about all that? Don’t work your tail off, but don’t expect the rewards of working your tail off.
Chase what’s inside you. Not what’s expected of you. You’ll never get ahead riding coat tails, being deceptive or using other people.

Chase what you really care about. Don’t be in a rat race.
I don’t have high financial aspirations, but I do have the hustle and I like to prove people wrong.

I’m not chasing money. I’m chasing being the best there is. I’m not there, but I won’t stop until I am. I am chasing the rewarding feeling of helping people achieve their dreams.
Aim to be happy.
