Just for fun I used an online tax calculator to see what the federal income tax bill would be for a single person with (just) $20,000 in before-tax income. This is what it spit out:

$780 in federal income taxes! That’s right, someone who doesn’t even earn $10 per hour would pay more in taxes than Donald Trump did. #TrumpTaxes

Hoping @TaxPolicyCenter can tell us what % of American households paid more in federal income taxes than Trump did ($750). If someone who works full time for less than $10/hour would have paid more than this, we know this share has to be large.

Not sure that calculator accounts for EITC and standard deduction though.

Actually someone with $20K earnings and NO children would get NO EITC. Is that correct, @ElaineMaag??
