Since Daybreak Interlude has a high requirement, if you’re struggling to hit 1.5 mil on Expert and think you might need to go up to Master, here’s a much more forgiving team using only permas that can also get you up to that 1.5 mil score requirement.
Recommended assists:
Score Up: This team isn’t very strong for both stats and scoring, so you’ll definitely want all the help you can!
10s Perfect Mode: There’s about 60 notes in the opening 10 seconds of the beat map, and that’s plenty to help you get the perfect lock timer

building up with Summer Tamaki so you can keep the combo going.
Flick Notes: To say there’s a lot of flick notes is an understatement, and removing them makes the beat map a *lot* easier to play imho.

Badge: Your best score up badge. If you’re just starting out and you did the point grind on Trigger’s anniversary event, you probably got a badge for it that increases your score by 10% at the end of a live. It also stacks with the Score Up assist!
Team breakdown:
General note: All of these cards are max skilled (because I keep giving Banri money for Mitsuki and sometimes Banri gives me dupes). Your results will vary depending on your team’s skill level, special training, RNG, and player skill.

This thread is meant to help get people who are struggling different strategies to consider to reach the goal, and is by no means the only way to get there. The focus is on permas since they’re the ones people are most likely to have in their box!
OutdoorFes Sougo: With 2 perfect locks, you’ll definitely get the Chorus Bonus, and since it’s all Beat, you’ll want a Beat center. He’s a combo-based scorer, which is good, since the Master Beat map has 795 notes in it.
Alternatives: Pretty much any (trained/skilled up) combo or perfect Beat SSR or UR will do, but the other really strong perma idolized UR that stands out to me is OutdoorFes Yamato, since he’s the other perma Beat scorer UR that can break 7k in his primary stat after training.
Note: The OutdoorFes series is in the pool of SSRs for the 5th anniversary Nanacore, so if you still have them and you’re not sure who to get, consider picking up a copy (or two) of OutdoorFes Sougo!
Summer Tamaki x2: Same appeal skill as (my usual) Halloween Mitsuki, except he’s a perma so he’s a lot easier to get and skill up. Since only one perfect lock appeal skill can be active at any point in time, future activations just add to the timer for that card. Perfects you hit
during it counts toward the activation requirement, so once one starts, the perfect lock basically never ends unless you get unlucky with RNG, especially if he’s got a skill up or two (and keep in mind as an idolized SSR he starts at skill level 2!) The activations just “bounce”
between both cards all song, and at max skill I usually have 30+ seconds leftover on both of them by the end!
Alternatives: Any (skilled up) perfect or combo based perfect lock will do, just keep away from the time based ones since their time interval for activation is always

longer than the duration of the skill being active. Ideally you’d want one with a less than 20 note requirement for activation.

Sakura Message Mitsuki: With a beat map this fast and this busy, there’s a good chance you’ll just outright miss notes even with Summer Tamaki to help you out. SakuMess Mitsuki will save 4-5 of those as long as he uses his appeal skill at the start of the song.
Alternatives: Again, any guard will do, ideally you want them to be skilled up so they activate at the beginning of the song. SakuMess Mitsuki is special for the number of notes (5) he can save.

Gaku, Ainana Roman Momo, Job Yamato. These will save you from 3 misses at max skill. Of these, ResPo Mitsuki and Job Yamato are also Beat cards, so if your Beat stat isn’t high enough, this is another way to get more.
