A lot of people have been questioning my stance on Ray Allen vs Allen Iverson on my all time SG list, so here's a detailed thread on my thought process:
First I will start by comparing their 5 year peak:

AI (1999-00 to 2003-04) / vs. Ray Allen (2000-01 to 2004-05)

PPG: 29.0 / 22.6
RPG: 4.0 / 4.9
APG: 5.3 / 4.3
SPG: 2.5 / 1.3
EFG%: 43.5% / 52.7%
TS%: 49.8% / 57.8%
PER: 21.4 / 21.7
WS/48: .129 / .172
BPM: 4.0 / 4.4
TS+: 96 / 111
As you can see Ray leads in every impact and advanced stat, but AI has a large gap in PPG. This can be attributed to AI's large FGA numbers (25 vs 17.5) as when I adjusted Ray Allen to the same FGA, Ray was averaging 32.3 PPG.
5 Year Playoff Peak (Same years):

AI / Ray

PPG: 30.9 / 25.6
RPG: 4.4 / 4.2
APG: 5.9 / 5.2
SPG: 2.2 / 1.3
EFG%: 42.7% / 55.7%
TS%: 48.7% / 60.7%
PER: 21.8 / 23.7
WS/48: .115 / .207
BPM: 4.9 / 7.9
Ray Allen improves in every impact and advanced stat in a big way, while Iverson gets worse in every single one, don't be fooled by a 2001 run on a great team, Iverson was not the playoff performer he is made out to be.

Ray Allen adjusted to Iverson's playoff FGA is at 37.3 PPG!
Some may say "you're too stat heavy and I don't care about stats" so to appeal my argument to those people I will use team success to prove Ray > AI as well.

AI / Ray

Championships: 0 / 2
Finals Appearances: 1 / 4
Playoff Record: 30-41 (42.2%) / 100-71 (58.5%)
I don't know what else you could possibly need to be convinced at this point, it really isn't an argument when you objectively dive into it, but of course we will always have people who are emotionally attached to AI or are obsessed with his crossover, so I'll leave it at that.
