Today a few community groups got together and shut down 120th st in Richmond Hill as an open street. We filled out folx census, gave out doubles,played games, blasted Punjabi and IndoCaribbean music and celebrated as community.

After which we led a dholi procession thru 101 Ave(Punjab Way) letting people know about the census and helping 40+ families fill it out. #CensusBarat

And finally we celebrated with Bhangra and Soca, the richmond Hill way. Where else do you have Punjabi Dholis playing to Trini Music while everyone dances. Its good to be back.
