no genuinely though david’s flaws make him relatable to so many of us. and the fact that he can have those flaws and personality traits and still find love and comfort and a place to call home is a source of hope for so many people!!!!!!

i saw myself represented in david for the first time- in his unabashed queerness, the fact that he WAS flawed and he didn’t always get everything right!! the fact he didn’t think he deserved good things!! but things worked out for him and that did a lot for me

anyway this show saved my life!!!! and changed it!! and made me hopeful for a beautiful future!!!! maybe sometimes everything DOES work out
