Misuse of the block button to create a social media page that fulfils a personal agenda.

However its worrying the way it can be used to reinforce the integrity of misinformation.
This is a resent experience with a YouTube channel. I'd been commenting for a while correcting people about some dodgy methods used in some of the videos and discussing technical stuff. 2/8

Here's when I began to realise something was up with the viability of my comments. Turned out I'd been blocked. YouTube gives no notification and fakes posting the comments. Annoying but not the topic of this thread. 3/8
Now this obviously isn't really a big deal, he obviously wants to keep an audience with less scientific knowledge than his own.

A few days later a video about the conducive ink he sells, basically an advert. In it he is seen scrubbing at a plastic disc in the sink and remarking on how incredibly water and abrasion resistance it is.

A disc with the same conductive ink on the surface in a different video. Something doesn't look right to me. Ink definitely has a thickness to it.

Bit naughty but he just sells a few extra tins of ink to people who aren't aware.
The problem really comes with the spreading of dangerous misinformation. If it can be given credibility by the careful selection of followers who give the correct responses this is bad. 8/8
