Our entire tax code is written to ensure those with the least give the most and those with the most give nothing at all. They use “philanthropy” as their tax laundry and we all get stuck paying 20-40% of our income to the govt.

BBB is why these senators (on BOTH SIDES OF THE AISLE) are so focused on estate taxes all the GD time.

I’ve spent a lot of time around very old money... they are raised to not pay their fair share. They are raised to think their philanthropy is a vessel for tax evasion masked as feigned altruism and that we should all be thankful they are even doing that.
