things that have or continue to prevent me from doing today's task:
- textbook on backorder;
- brain unable to accept reading a not-so-legal copy,
- brain unable to read excessive amounts of text on a screen, &

- prof gets legal pdf copy available, recommends printing;
- reluctantly prints said legal pdf copy... bUT NOW BRAIN UNABLE TO READ BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A THIN, YELLOW HIGHLIGHTER;

- resolve to go buy desired highlighters but not yet because I need to pay the stablemaster (eso) early;
- write this thread but then have the first portion of it get ERASED;
