harry styles and his white vans: a long but important history (aka me making a thread instead of studying for my midterm)

aug 6 2018: nick grimshaw blesses us with this picture ft. harry and some very fresh very cool sneakers

jun 6 2019: fast forward a year and harry is spotted leaving soho house in a new style of white vans. looking clean except for some some scuffing along the side

jul 31 2019: harry out and about in london in these iconic yellow bell bottoms and of course the white vans. still looking pristine

aug 6 2019: harry steps out to dinner in philadelphia looking casual but also immaculate in his man bun and vans, they’re slightly dirtier but still in decent condition

aug 12 2019: harry arrives back to london, a true man on the go in his white sneakers. the sole is starting to look a bit dirty

aug 25 2019: two styles siblings. two pairs of vans. i really can’t ask for more. the canvas is starting to look a bit discolored tho

sep 12 2019: this little denim cap is back for the third time and so are the vans!! at this point I would officially classify them as off-white especially in comparison with the white socks

sep 19 2019: harry in la and these shoes are looking dingy

sep 27 2019: going to miami!! back at the airport, back in the vans, and they’re looking pretty grungy now tbh. giving u all three pics bc i love this look so much

dec 18 2019: NEW VANS to go along with the new album!!! very clean

jan 5 2020: harry in ~winter white~ down to the still-new vans. at the airport again, starting to think the vans are his designated travel shoe. a practical king. side note this jumpsuit/hairstyle/necklace combo has me feeling some type of way

feb 26 2020: a legendary day in hs fashion history. the jw anderson cardigan that inspired thousands of stans to learn how to crochet. while the sweater stole the show this look is not complete without the vans (which by now are looking a little grimy around the rubber)

it’s been a hot sec but the vans are back!!! calm posted this pic on jul 6 BUT i think it was taken in may bc harry’s dressed for warm weather but he hasn’t yet re-laced the left shoe with the pink shoelace. some obvious dark spots on the canvas by now

jun 3 2020: harry shows up for Black lives at the la protest. i don’t want to take focus away from the message by turning it into a fashion moment so we’ll keep moving

jul 18 2020: when this pic of harry in italy with a mustache cropped up i honestly spiraled it’s so amazing. anyway vans with the coffee stain and pink lace

sep 23 2020: golden mv content!! he looks so good, im emotional, but the vans... idk what he got up to in italy but honey they’re grey at this point. gotta have sneakers to sprint in though i guess. also three pics bc he looks majestic
