Idk if this is unpopular but I’m gonna say it: Pseudoroids are my favorite type of ‘Maverick’ bosses cause they actually have a reason to be animal like when it comes to lore. I don’t mind the animal designs for Mavericks, there’s great designs but in X series, it bothered me.

Not only can ANY reploid go Maverick making the animal concept get grainy after awhile, If most of the Mavericks were just animal Reploids then why couldn’t they just dispose/discount making them? It seem to be the easy solution even if there still be Mavericks.

There’s probably lore that explains WHY specifically it’s always the animal reploids but it still throws me off. Zero it does make a bit more sense cause they worked w the guardians so maybe they were made specifically for them, but I don’t like most of their designs.

I mainly grew on them bc of ZXA concept of turning into them-yes I don’t care if they sucked gameplay wise-but they LITERALLY are made to keep biometals so they have a reason to be bloody thirsty animals.

They aren’t just “regular Reploid’s who are animal like that went Maverick” their whole purpose IS to kill anyone and I like that. I could gush on and on about all of them but I don’t want to make this thread too lengthy I just wanted to say a hot take.
