2. A geeky skirt chaser with a kind heart but little to no flirting game.
Comic relief character.
Obsessed with blonde, female character.

3. Quiet and reserved female 'best friend' character that puts her friends needs and happiness before her own.
Has a hidden talent for magic.

3.5. The very same character also has a hidden dark side that manifests itself as an antagonist with the EXACT SAME DESIGN!!

4. A mentor with a history in monster-hunting/monster research.
An academic and teacher at protagonists school.
Trains protagonist in combat briefly.
Acts as a sort of surrogate father figure towards protagonist.
A character with a contemporary mixed reception amongst fans.

5. A supernatural 'pit' likened to Hell that contains/leads to another dimension.
Attracts and/or expels monsters from itself to complete tasks.
Source of conflict for protagonist and main cast.

6. A 'foil' character for protagonists mentor with the same occupation though with a different personality.
More 'active' within supernatural community than mentor.
BOTH are played by Alex Denisoff

7. The cast give themselves a pop culture inspired name.
Legacies - Super Squad
Buffy - Scooby Gang

8. Brett Matthews worked on BOTH shows. On Buffy as Joss Whedon's assistant and on Legacies as an executive producer and writer.

9. Monster expelled from Pit (see 5) that becomes a main villain for a season.
Personal history and connection with Pit.
Influences monster/s of the week.
Presented as 'powerful' and fearsome but in reality, is just campy and sends minions to do dirty work.

10. Geeky male character in love with protagonist.
Poor fashion sense.
Determined to fight with protagonist, often ends up needing to be *saved* by protagonist
Makes promises of love to protagonist but in reality, comes off as intrusive and clingy.
