Gai gave his kunoichi the best lessons, one-on-one attention, and praise. He& #39;s constantly gassing her up and reminding her of her strength and growth because he knows that she& #39;s hard on herself and measured herself on impossible standards before.
Gai teaches Lee to be considerate of Tenten as a teammate takes her limits into consideration, but as a person, never because she’s a girl. He gives her just as much a chance to try techniques out and find her niche as he gives Neji and Lee and he doesn& #39;t too easy on her.
Gai spars one-on-one with Tenten and they& #39;re tough but fair, and it& #39;s clear the fights really give Tenten a sense of accomplishment. He personally practices with her with the weapons of her choice.
Gai acknowledges her growth and effort every time Tenten finds it hard to do so herself because she compares the results to the more visible results that Lee and Neji has. Gai works with each of his students and he knows better than anyone how much work she puts in, too.

You& #39;ve be hard-pressed to find any sensei that gave his kunoichi more one-on-one time and space to explore her different skills than Gai did for Tenten. And it extends beyond Tenten, he happily praises the efforts and strength of the other young kunoichi, too.
And Gai has a notable scene of him him noting his admiration for kunoichi and saying that there are a lot of amazing kunoichi he looks up to that can’t do Medical Ninjutsu
Gai is a huge lady Tsunade fan, especially of her taijutsu and medical prowess.
Gai gets along so well with and respects his female colleagues
When Kurenai was feeling down about her skills as a teacher, she went to Gai. She admires him as a teacher so much. And Gai praised Kurenai and her team and told Kurenai that she should believe in herself more, too.
Gai& #39;s also immune to the sexy jutsu and incapable of looking at the students that way. In Konoha Shinden, he suggested Mirai bath in the river like he used to, it just never occurred to him that it could be taken in a weird way bc he was completely innocent and earnest about it.
