People throw around the word "generational talent" far too easily. A "generational talent" comes around once every 10-15 years. These players are not only exceptional from the get go but borderline world class.

That& #39;s not to say João isn& #39;t great. He& #39;s extremely good. I& #39;d put him up there as La Liga& #39;s best talent but he still has much he has to improve. He& #39;s still learning and has some way to go to be regarded amongst the best in the world. He& #39;ll get there eventually.

The attacker who comes closest to flirting with the term "generational" is probably Håland. But we& #39;ve still to see sustained production over a longer period of time.

In defense, Trent Alexander-Arnold is probably in that world class bracket & already has 2 fantastic seasons under his belt. I& #39;d say he& #39;s close to being generational. No fullback is quite capable of playing such a high level at his age.
