Hinduism is only Religion that believes in superiority of Female power.
Contrary to Manusmriti often quoted to abuse Hinduism (highly misinterpretated) daughters were as prayed for & celebrated as a ale child.
Nowhere in Vedic society birth
2/12
Of girl child is a matter of anxiety.

Birth of female child was highest object of celebration and rejoices. In Vedic scriptures girl is termed as duhita, kanya, kaaneea, kanayala etc, means “desirable in the society” and “the pupil of the eye”.
3/12
In Brihadaranyaka Upanishad which comes under White Yajur Veda, there is a ritual with vegetable and animal diets which was performed by the parents in order to get a learned daughter.

For a learned Pandita to be born, parents were supposed to have rice boiled with sesame

Seeds & ghee. (BU 6.4.17)

Matasya Puran (154.414-17)
States that
Birth of daughter is highly meritorious.

Anusasna Parva (3.45.11) Son is considered same as A boy

Virata Parva (4.126) also states that daughter & daughter in law should be treated same
5/12
There are many incidences mentioned in Vedas talking about prayers juts to attain a girl child
Like
Himachal prayed to Adi shakti to be born as daughter

Goddess Bhudevi appeared to gift Maa Sita to King Janak when his rajya was facing severe drought

Even King Manu
6/12
recieved a girl Illa from his child producing ritual.

These are not mere motions
They speak about the importance of girl child.
Rig Veda (10.159.3)
My sons are slayers of enemies, My daughters best ruling queen.

Coming to women empowerment :
Vedas are full of references
7/12
Encouraging education of women, discouraging early marriage.
If u read the following Ref u would too feel that Vedic kal was the golden period of woman empowerment

"An unmarried young learned daughter should be married to a bridegroom who like her is learned.
Never think
8/12
Of giving in marriage a daughter of young age - Rig Veda (3.55.16)

A young daughter who has finished her studies should be married to bride groom who is learned like her - Yajurveda (8.1)

A girl should be brought up & educated with great efforts & care -Mahanirvana Tantra
9/12
The choice of selection her bride groom was also given to daughter.
From where did the ritual of men going to see girls for marriage started, I have no idea.

Show me one more religion in the world who says all these things about a girl?

Then why Hinduism is patriarchal
10/12
Be a queen to thy father-in-law, mother-in-law,sister-in-law,brother-in-law.”(Rig Veda 10.85.46)
“You enrich your husband’s home, being the mistress of it.” (Rig Veda10-85-27)
“Wife is a Home and a shelter for the rest.” (Rig Veda 3.53.4)
11/12
A women cant offend” (Virata Parva 9)
“women are deities of prosperity, the person that desires affluence and prosperity should honour them. By cherishing women one cherishes the goddess of prosperity herself and by afflicting her, one is said to pain the goddess
12/12
of prosperity.”(Anusasana Parva 13.46.5,6.15)

I can go on. Somewhere down the struggle with invaders, we seem to have lost this.

With the revival of India, I am hoping we will also see the revival of our ancient culture, where women won't be insulted with any excuse
