I hope we're seeing the beginning of the end of gender ideology. It is regressive, authoritarian, profoundly sexist & misogynistic, and is creating a terrible medical scandal.
It happened because too many people abandoned the principle of free speech, too many people tried to 1/

2/ enforce a belief when they themselves didn't know what it was they were supposed to believe, too many people were happy to condemn without hearing people out.
As a result feminists who wrote that women should never be punished for talking about male violence, denounced women

3/ for talking about male violence. Organisations who lobbied to remove the Blasphemy Act, lobbied to introduce a compelled belief in a metaphysical & illogical concept. Societies set up to promote reason and science shamed those who questioned dogma. The first person everyone

4/ fooled was themselves. When you don't examine belief systems before adopting them, you can end up vociferously fighting for the very things you, in clearer times, oppose.
