This is why it fucks me up when people say it’s sexist to not like Hinata & what she represents. She’s used as this model of perfect femininity for being shy/quiet, having a large chest. She ended up a housewife despite all her potential in a battle shonen
And people defend that because wait for it—she “chose” to be a MOTHER to her kids. Which apparently you can’t be unless you’re confined into your home lol.
Her character embodies sexism, I’m sorry but that’s just the way it is.
Not liking her for this bullshit is very valid.

This is just a game, but it perfectly reflects the kind of mentality & values she resonates with & makes people (fans/creators) see.
She’s some sort of beacon of patriarchy, misogyny. Not only due to her own disposition but how other types of female characterizations are trashed

+ And they’re trashed not for supposedly being inherently wrong but simply for not conforming with that awful perception of femininity.
If you’re not conceptually reductive, quiet, weak, submissive like Hinata then you’re not only bad but also not a proper woman.
LMFAOOOO. Foh.

It’s not about hating her as a character for her personality itself. It’s about /how/ she was written & why. It’s a broader issue.
It’s when you acknowledge what it’s assimilated to and the consequences of it, that it gets wrong.
