We really do need to #PWRDOWN the hated and bigoted culture that has been cultivated in the gaming scene. creators think they can be toxic so their fans think the same. you can't just tweet an apology and wash your hands of this. We all need to change our behaviour as a whole. 1/
Creators need to realise they have young impressionable minds in their hands, spewing racist and mysoginistic rhetoric does nothing but make the next generation of gamers worse than us. 2/
Content Creators are in the public eye, that means you need to be better! act like the proffesionals you claim to be. if I acted like this in my job I would be fired and potentially black listed. 3/
We're in a world where everything you post online is there permanently. these kids that post this hate now WILL have it brought up when they're looking for employment in the future. no brand/company will take you seriously if all you tweet is "OMG DIE BITCH" 4/
as for the @peachxflame and @radiusfn situation, Radius needs to do better to cultivate his community. he can't use the line "I can't control my community" that's just wrong, go on the offensive, acknowledge properly that you were wrong. say WHY you were wrong

Promote groups and pages that support anti-racist and anti-sexist causes. it's not that hard. maybe even seek out people that these issues affect and hear how it affects them. show your communities WHY they're in the wrong. TEACH your younger viewers. hell, I'll teach you! 6/
@peachxflame Is on the right side of history with this one Twitter. OCE orgs need to see this as a learning opportunity to teach their staff and talent how to act. Remember, just because they use a private Twitter doesn't mean they aren't still representing your brand. END!
