i want to start this out by saying i mean NO harm towards this girl. no malice, just genuine concern. i made a new account because i donāt want it get involved personally, this whole situation is just concerning me.
around 3 hours ago, @/rainbowskep started tweeting that they were feeling ill and panicking and that they think they might d!e. they proceed to inform their followers that they called an ambulance and it had arrived, and were going to the hospital.
they then went on to tweet over the past 3 hours documenting their ādeath chancesā, their treatment, and their medicine. there are literally so many things wrong with this narrative i donāt know where to begin.
first of all- ambulances literally donāt???? come that fast??? itās genuinely not physically possible for an ambulance to get from a hospital to her house in 3 minutes. even if she lived next door, the paramedics have procedures they have to do before they depart.
next- the whole death rate thing is LITERALLY the most horrificly untrue thing i have ever seen. there is no machine that can tell you how āclose you areā to dying. it just doesnāt exist. the only place that exists in the medical field is when someone has an illness
or has to undergo surgery, in which case doctors use either their information of the surgery and the patient and the patientās history to determine the likelyhood of surviving a surgery, or the information they have about whatever illness or affliction the patient has and their
circumstances. over the course of 3 hours this girl claims the doctors have told her anywhere from 30-90% ādeath chanceā, down to the DIGIT. thatās quite simply scientifically impossible. itās just impossible period point blank. itās not a thermometer.
and iām not even going to comment on how she causally threw in her ādeath rateā with the fact that sheās TRENDING in the last tweet but whatever. furthermore, this girl claims sheās been in the hospital undergoing ātreatmentā and i assume tests this whole time. first of all,
the odds of doctors settling on a definite diagnosis and treatment plan in 2 hours is so incredibly slim that itās just not true, and second, how is she on her phone?? iāve been rushed to the hospital and itās a CONSTANT stream of tests and IVs and scans for hours.
you have no time and reason nor do doctors allow you to be on your phone because you are in an EMERGENCY ROOM because you were rushed to the HOSPITAL in an AMBULANCE. again, these are UNIVERSAL procedures. there is ZERO way that would be allowed, ESPECIALLY if she is
supposedly about to die??? and now, onto the reason i made this thread. this made me SICK to read. there are young, impressionable CHILDREN on this app who are very well panicking and scared and sad because of this and to guilt trip your following into saying that you
āfailed themā if you die is the most manipulative and disgusting thing iāve ever read. to lie about your death and an exceptionally traumatic experience and livetweet very sensitive and traumatic things to thousands of people, and letting people and BIG ccs trend your name
when it is so clearly fake a 5 year old could see it, is so so horrible. the death of a young girl trending on twitter for anyone to see is horrible enough, and the fact that itās all made up for clout is AWFUL.
here are more ādeath rateā tweets that again read like sheās trying to say thereās some sort of percentage displayed on a screen somewhere about when sheās going to die. this isnāt a dystopian novel nothing like that exists in any way. those percentages in REAL cases are
predications gathered from large amounts of research and case studies by doctors.
i donāt know what else to even add to this because if by the end of the thread you canāt see that this is painfully fake and a really really horrible thing to lie about, then youāre willingly choosing to ignore it. itās so incredibly triggering for ME to see someone
trending and to click on it, see that itās a YOUNG GIRL, get literally nauseous and start crying, and then scroll down her page and see this bullshit. it is So So harmful and i hope that anyone whoās been seeing it tonight wasnāt too deeply affected or triggered by it.
in another fandom iām in, a girl i was mutuals with did this, but faked su!cide and the effects it had on my tl, the people around me, and Me when we thought she was d3ad were the worst thing in the world. it triggered so many people.
please stop tweeting the hashtag and please stop giving her attention. i donāt know what kind of person would lie about this but she clearly does not need a platform.
AGAIN! please donāt send her hate. she clearly is already struggling if she feels the need to lie about something like this. just take away the platform sheās been given to spread this lie by simply not interacting.
