Every Democratic presidential ticket since I cast my first ballot has featured a Catholic: 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020. I voted for all of them - and I have voted for myself.

My concerns with the judge will never be her religious views.

They're with her public policy views.
I'm concerned about whether someone who by her own admission shares the Justice Scalia's judicial philosophy agreed with his dissents in Romer v. Evans, Lawrence v. Texas, United States v. Windsor and Obergefell v. Hodges, and the post-Scalia dissent in Bostock v. Clayton County.
I'm concerned about whether that same person agreed with Justice Scalia's dissents in National Federation of Independent Business v. Sebelius and Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Pennsylvania v. Casey or his majority votes in Shelby County v. Holder and Citizens United v. FEC.
I'm also extremely concerned about which parts of Department of Homeland Security v. Regents of the University of California she believes were correctly/incorrectly decided as the case affects the well-being of my DACA constituents (yes, constituents - I represent all of HD13).
To describe yourself as ideologically aligned with Justice Scalia means we need to know on what grounds you agree with his opinions and dissents and those of the other Scalia-aligned Justices.

The civil rights of my constituents and my own are on the line.

That's my concern.
