a thing that I am worried about in terms of religious freedom is that Jewish and atheist women are going to be denied access to contraception and forced to give birth by Christian theocratic authoritarians. https://twitter.com/marcorubio/status/1309890863405957120
"Catholics are being discriminated against if you do not let religious zealots impose their orthodoxy on you."
there are a list of problems with abortion bans, to put it mildly, but one that is on the list that is not discussed a lot is that they're antisemitic.
even in terms of health insurance, catholic institutions refusing to pay for Jewish women's health care which is sanctions by Jewish religion is pretty problematic!
Christian religious authorities using their power to impose their beliefs on Jewish people seems like it has implications for religious freedom! to me. though, you know, I'm not going to be placed on the supreme court.
I do think that right to contraception is under threat, as well as abortion rights, from this court.
