The AIIMS report will help prove the crime in court.
It's scientific opinion based on visual evidence.
The conclusion was that it's a crime, a possible homicide.
Then why some doctors on the board are opposing the conclusion?
Is there pressure to alter the report?

Thread begins.
First, about the source of this thread.
I have not got this information from my professional acquaintances. Some friends are senior doctors at AIIMS. This has come from one of them. That person knows me for 10-odd years.
Hence I would assume that this information is correct.
The AIIMS doctors on this panel are senior doctors, all government employees and professors, mostly in their fifties. They are not trained or even equipped to handle pressure.
My friend says that few among them have cracked under pressure and contradicting the initial conclusion.
Previously there was no such pressure.
Doctors had their internal meetings and quickly arrived at a conclusion.
But after that something changed.
Few on the Board have now returned their opinion as "Inconclusive" rather than "Homicide".
This has stunned other members on the panel
If AIIMS says in their report that they don't have a conclusion, then it will have far-reaching consequences on the case.
Here's the possible aftermath if AIIMS report is "inconclusive".

1. AIIMS doctors will be free from pressure because the report will be of no use to the CBI.
2. In case of an inconclusive AIIMS report, automatically the earlier medical report on this case will be considered as valid evidence.
What's the earlier medical report? Yes, the post-mortem report of Cooper Hospital which states the reason of death as "Asphyxia due to hanging".
3. In case of an inconclusive report from AIIMS, the CBI will have no reason to investigate the doctors from Cooper Hospital who did the post mortem.
There is only one post mortem report.
The doctors will be relieved and can join back for work.
They will also testify at the court
4. If the allegations of tampering with the post mortem report is proved, then the guilty will lose their licence.
But if the report is inconclusive then nobody will be accuse the AIIMS senior doctors of putting their fellow medical professionals in danger of a CBI investigation.
5. If the report is inconclusive then the AIIMS doctors will be relieved from taking part in further investigation.
After the initial criticism, no media will chase them.
They will not be called to court to confirm and testify.
They can all go back to their peaceful academic life
A short break for brunch.
When I am back, I will talk about another important reason behind the volte-face.
There are opposite but powerful political forces at work here.
Further developments in the case will also hinge on which political force will be able to prevail in the end.
Let's understand why this case has assumed this proportion.
There were suicide cases in Bollywood earlier too, where the death occurred under mysterious circumstances.
Then how come this one assumes such proportions that it is dismantling Bollywood?
Short answer: Political forces
From day one, the Sushant case has had huge popular support from across the world with people demanding justice and negating the narrative that he committed suicide.
But for Bihar, it's a step ahead.
For Biharis, Sushant was their "Ghar Ka Laadla", their boy, their family member.
Lakhs of Biharis come to Mumbai every year for work, leaving their family behind.
They are lonely. They stick to each other and support themselves in Mumbai where everything is moving at break-neck speed.
For them, Sushant was an inspiration, who came to Mumbai and became a star.
The uproar from Bihar was so intense and powerful that chief minister Nitish Kumar couldn't overlook it.
Moreover, polls were fast approaching in the state. It was clear that if Shri Kumar doesn't react then it might affect his political fortunes.
He decided to back the movement.
After Nitish Kumar decided to back the case, the developments were fast.
Kumar is an ally of the BJP & part of the NDA.
He spoke with senior leaders in Delhi and ordered that an FIR be lodged in Patna.
Maharashtra BJP leaders were already in support for a full probe into the case
When so many BJP leaders appealed to the Home Minister, there was no reason why he would say 'no'.
Even though he was busy with the Corona situation in Delhi, the appeal of putting in a CBI enquiry was allowed.
The rest is history - three central agencies were pressed into action
Because it's the peoples' mandate, no political leader could ignore it. All political leaders are public servants. They are elected by the people. The BJP top leadership from day one has been pursuing this case.
But there is another equal and opposite political force at work too.
Whether we accept it or not, this case is a hot political battle.
The way the case is going, it will have dramatic or tragic political consequences, depending on who you are.
Not only political fortunes, if the probes aren't stopped, nothing much will be left of the film industry
The Sushant Singh Rajput might be a watershed moment for Indian regional politics and the Hindi film industry.
We are standing at such a point where there's a chance of it not happening.
If this case goes on further then soon this will be a point of no return.
There's still time.
If the BJP leaders can be convinced to back out then still there's hope left for some.
Rhea Chakraborty & her accomplices are already in jail. NCB has made few arrests.
So all good if the CBI files a final closure report saying that they couldn't find much due to lack of evidence
The BJP is the principal opposition party in Maharashtra and its ally is the ruling party in Bihar. I don't think any leader will withdraw support from the case nor will they stop pursuing this case.
This case won't lose its political currency anytime soon. Let's see what happens
But once CBI files a homicide or murder report, there's no looking back. The arrow will have departed from the bow.
As I said the political undercurrents that are at play in this case cannot be ignored and it will be foolish to say that this case isn't political.
Of course it is.
That's why it is so important that the public keeps up the pressure on the public representatives to find out what really happened with Sushant minutes before he breathed his last.
All the drugs probe, the money laundering etc. are fine.
But we cannot lose sight of the main case.
Bollywood getting cleaned up is fine.
But we must remember that procuring drugs in small quantities and consuming it, is not a punishable crime in India.
None of the stars being interrogated, will be jailed for consuming drugs.
Only the drug dealers will be jailed if found guilty
It's all the more important that the public keeps up the pressure and focuses more on the Sushant Singh Rajput case.
File online petitions, trend hashtags, write letters...do everything you can to bring back the focus on Sushant.
We deserve to know the truth.
