I commissioned one of my twitter friends to digitally draw my main character from the YA novel I’m working on and my heart is so happy, A MINI THREAD:
I sent them my character’s aesthetic pinterest board to get a feel of my character and they asked me q’s about his personality, backstory, etc
They said they’re so excited for this commission and that makes me so happy! They even messaged me and asked about clothing and if it was okay if he could wear a watch and black nail polish. My heart is singing at this moment and I say, “YES, ABSOLUTELY” 
And, since my main character is based off of Asklepios, the ancient healer, they asked if he has healing magic and I said that he does! Which means there might be magic involved.... I’m bouncing off the walls w/ excitement at this point
They said it’ll be about a week to draw him but I’ll keep this thread updated for my writer friends who (like me) didn’t know that commissioning people to draw your characters is a thing!
