Alright, we're headed into the second overtime, so I guess it's time to tell this story for posterity.

I'm 2007, I started a hockey blog with @WeedVsSpeed @backfromsiberia @ZuulHandLuke and @Le_Noceur. I was the Tampa Bay guy, along with whatever other nonsense popped up.

Along the way, I met @loser_domi. She was blogging for the Leafs, and was fun to talk to.

I'm the process of this job, I met @ling_chan who got me a job working for a TV Channel called Versus.

@loser_domi and I started doing live blogs for the NHL playoffs in 2008.

One of those games was a 3 OT thriller between the Stars and Sharks that lasted until 4am.

So Kim and I started talking more after that game. And in October 2010, I asked her out. She flew to Florida, and #LDShouldGoToFlorida started trending.

She flew down on a Friday, by the time she flew back on Tuesday, we were dating.

That was October 2010. By March 2012, she was moving in, and I proposed. She said, "If you're joking, I'm going to punch you in the throat."

Then she said yes.

We've now been married six years. This year has had our home being robbed, I lost my job, my father had a debilitating stroke, my car got totaled while we were asleep in the house, and a global pandemic.

So, believe me when I tell you........this Stanley Cup Final is emotional for us.

We're rolling into double overtime, we have friends here that we can't hug after a goal. But we're here. We're loud. And we're not going to stop pushing forward.

Everything is awful right now.

But we can push through this. All of us. I love every single one of you folks. We're going to get through this year if it kills us.

So here we are. We're separated, but we're together. We dump sanitizer on our hands for high fives, we're making do with what we have.

So, from the heart of Ybor City, the only place in all of Florida built high enough to have basements, so they could be cigar humidors....
