@YourPie I was just at your Gloucester, VA location and was harassed by your workers for simply wearing a mask. One of the older workers came up to me and my friend @madelyncassidyy to tell us “You don’t need to wear a mask” twice while standing within 3 feet—no mask in sight.
Madelyn took a seat at one of the bars when the man looked me in the eye and said “oh you watch CNN” in a demeaning tone.
We were just waiting for the to-go order and we kept our masks on. The staff members that had before had masks on—even if just barely over their mouths—took their masks off and all crowded behind the counter as close to us as possible.
We were obviously uncomfortable and we talked about calling corporate and complaining about the no masks. When it was ready, the same older man from earlier came out with a plastic bag on his head and his mask on over it. He told us to “stay safe,” obviously mocking us.
I told him that it was inappropriate and I was calling corporate. One of the other workers took a picture as well as a video of all of this. I heard someone took a video and posted it, which we hope to find soon and attach to this thread.
Apparently he also said “I’m just trying to keep you safe” and I told him, “We’re in a f***ing global pandemic!” and stormed off. 0 stars. Never eating here again.
