I’m at 10th and Hudson. Dozens of cops just charged at pedestrians.

There’s a wall of cops here. Just a few minutes ago they rushed across the street to attack pedestrians on the other side.

It’s extremely peaceful here, just people eating dinner, there was a small peaceful protest in WSP. Cops just batoned pedestrians

There are like several hundred cops, not even a protest, there’s an automated message warning people not to obstruct traffic. People stopped to take video and that’s when cops rushed the crowd. No one was even in the street.

Not that a protest should justify this, but there was no protest, nothing. Just people eating at restaurants outside.

I keep repeating myself but I’ve lived in New York for 31 years and this was the most unhinged thing I’ve ever seen.

Not that it matters but for the record I was walking down Hudson after a micro-wedding on the water, not there in a reporting capacity. Don’t recommend running from the cops in heels.
