My bot is finally here — say hello to @thispersonsfake!

Online safety is important, and it’s so easy to believe things you see online. I put this bot together to raise awareness.

One of the biggest ways ‘imposters’ spread misinformation is by using fake personas to push propaganda.

The personas are often computer generated and look extremely real. Just look at these randomly generated faces.... like what?!?!?!!

These images are generated using StyleGAN2 via http://thispersondoesnotexist.com , and then assigned a unique profile of interests, careers, and other fun characteristics.

Whenever @thispersonsfake Tweets, the network generates a new ‘person’ from scratch.

It’s pretty cool how technology can do all this… right? This toootally won’t be abused. Lol, let me just end with this article by @jjvincent:
