Slide is Grey Ghost precision and for the money its on par with polymer 80 parts. The main difference is you obviously have to buy it and have it sent to your FFL

Magpul magwels are probably the cheapest and most functional magwel for the proce

I bought a gen 3 extended mag release because I dont plan on CC’ing this beast. Additionally it makes dropping mags super easy.

While im on the subject i would suggest agency arms, overwatch precision or hyve for a trigger. And a ghost connector if your froggy.

Slide is from sheild arms from optics planet. HOWEVER, Aero, and a bunch of others make them.

Slide release is from Kagwerks and is a bit wonky if you arent used to it. For shooting and reloads its amazing. Barrel is a silencerCo threaded barrel with a TBRCI break.

Sites are ameriglo fronts and blacked out rear. This build put me within 50$ of a glock 19 gen 5, not including the trigger.

You can build a stock gen 3 glock. With no RMR, and a stock trigger for cheap. Youtube has a million build videos on how to install parts and its been a blessing.

For someones first build it would be a bitch, unless you know glocks well enough. Id say the hardest part was setting the locking block pins so it didnt bind the slide

I had fucked a polymer 80 up thinking the locking block was off center redrilled it and ruined the slide. Pro tip: if your slide is binding, install one of the pins the other way. Look on YouTube for the proper order as well.

After dumping FrogLube on it and running the slide it performs on par with my agency, minus a bit snappier recoil from the different spring.

If you build something like this and you want one or two things i would suggest on the “hight dollar” list.
- good trigger (agency or overwatch)
- good sight (ameriglo or trijicon)
- good barrel (agency, silencerco, KKM)

Finally: you can see the grip angle for the two are different. I have to bend some kydex to get it to seat. But it runs closer to a 1911 than a glock.
